Ripplemaker: a West Coast Flavored (Semi-)Modular Synth

The Ripplemaker offers the freedom and versatility of a modular synth in a stylish mobile package. Designed with a West Coast aesthetic, this synth features modules like a complex oscillator, lowpass gate, FM, mathematical utilities, and slope generator that encourage exploration and experimentation. With virtual patch cables, you can shape your sound to create morphing basslines or evolving generative drones.

A playground for modular enthusiasts and newcomers alike, the Ripplemaker doesn't require any prior knowledge of modulars, wavefolders, or control voltage. All modules come prewired, offering a powerful monosynth experience without the need for any cables. However, if you want to dive deeper into sound shaping possibilities, you can unleash your creativity by connecting virtual cables and exploring the vast potential of this synth. The Ripplemaker strikes the perfect balance between being immersive enough to lose yourself in and intuitive enough to navigate effortlessly.

In addition to being an AU plugin, the Ripplemaker comes with a standalone sequencer app that allows you to step away from your DAW and simply play. This app features a random pattern generator with scale locks, a real-time probability-based mutation engine, and seamless synchronization with other apps and hardware via Ableton Link or MIDI Clock.
